Boards lock meaning; style frames lock the look. These two are from sample boards in each lane — flat 2D for the Loopwise kind of story, full 3D when the product itself has to carry the frame. You approve one of these before animation too, so the finish is never a surprise.

01 · meaning

Sign-off moves to the board. You scrub every beat — pencil frame, script line, timing — in a player exactly like the one above, before animation starts. A misread scene dies here, where fixing it costs a redraw, not a re-render.

The script locks first, then a frame-by-frame storyboard. Meaning gets fixed while it’s still cheap to move — and the voice is directed per beat, the same notes you just toggled. After that, revisions are trims, which is why two or three rounds is genuinely enough.
